What is Anandanol and what does it do?

To explain what Anandanol does, we will first need to look at how the Endocannabinoid System works and how it can affect anxiety, sleep, and sensory overload.

Electrical impulses reach the end of the pre-synaptic nerve and release neurotransmitters that travel across the synapse and bind to post-synaptic receptors.

Activation of these receptors causes the release of Endocannabinoids which travel back across the synapse to the pre-synaptic nerve.

Once across the synaptic cleft, the Endocannabinoids bind with CB1 receptors to regulate the release of further neurotransmitters whether inhibitory (GABA) or excitatory (glutamate).

If the balance between inhibition and excitation is disturbed in favor of the excitatory pathways, the intensity of excitatory transmission may lead to adverse behavioral and neurological consequences.

Lack of focus, self-control, aggression, disrupted sleep, and sensory overload can all be traced to this imbalance.
